CHAPTER III Approach Qualitative approach will be applied throughout this thesis in order to examine the reasons of teachers’ perceptions, which will be compared with what they really do in the classroom. Method Cross-sectional study is going to be used because of the few timing left. Subjects of study Teachers of LEI degree are going to be required in this study. Technique Survey research is going to be the technique used in this thesis because of its interrogative nature. Instrument Personal interview will be done to the teachers in order to figure out their perceptions.

CHAPTER II Literature review English language has become one of the most popular spoken languages nowadays, with approximately 372 million of native speakers and 611 million of L2 speakers, it accumulates over 983 million of people speaking the language across the world. In addition to this, it was reported in 2015 that at least 67 countries and 27 non-sovereign entities had English as their official language, being the United Kingdom, United States, Australia, Canada and New Zealand the countries with more English native speakers living in, making this West Germanic language to be used in multiple daily activities such as business, education, work, arts, law, science, among others. CHAPTER I Introduction to the problem Over the past years, technology has improved by leaps and bounds, facilitating our lifestyle and making our lives easier than it was before. Since its appearance, ICTs have become a very popular studied subject among researchers due to its easy access and great innovation. With so many people using these technologies all around the world, it has been present in multiple life activities such as work, education, business, and home. In educational field, teachers are always looking forward to discover new strategies or techniques that will allow them to enhance their teaching style and thereby, their classes. Currently, one of the most prominent trends that teachers are adapting –or at least trying to- is the use of ICTs in the classroom.
